- When: Wednesday, March 5 at 7 p.m.
- Where: Reuter Center of UNCA, 300 Campus View Drive, Asheville, room 102, and online via Zoom. Use this link to register ahead of time.
Amy Musser of VandeMusser Design, which provides consulting for green residential construction, will give us ideas for easy tasks that anyone can do in their home to use less energy. She will also talk about financial credits and incentives available for some of those energy-saving tasks.
Asheville High School students, along with teacher Dacia Harris, will talk about their Drawdown/Eco-Challenge team that will be competing in a contest to lower their carbon footprints. They will challenge WNC Sierra Club members to follow in their footsteps.
Sophie Mullinax of Electrify Asheville Buncombe County will talk about their programs for individual rebates and incentives for big items such as heat pumps, as well as group buying power for lowering carbon footprints.
Can't make the meeting? Don't worry - recordings of the programs are posted on our website a week after the meeting. Our archive can be found here.

Free Parking at UNCA
Before the March. 5 program, please visit unca.aimsparking.com to sign up for your free one-day parking permit for UNCA. If you forget to register ahead of time, there is a computer at the Reuter Center that you can use the night of the event. (Note: If you are an OLLI member, your existing parking pass will be enough.)
The parking permit is free, but failing to register could lead to a fine. Don't back into a parking space as your license plate must be visible.
