Join us Sept. 28 for another clean-up of the French Broad River!

We will pick up trash in the river and along the shores between the Pearson Bridge and Silverline Park. Meet by the bridge behind French Broad Outfitters on Saturday, Sept. 28 at 10 a.m.

Make sure to wear clothes and shoes which can get wet and muddy. We plan to spend 3 hours cleaning trash along the shore down to Silverline Park.

Asheville GreenWorks will provide canoes, life jackets and "grabbers" plus gloves. Those who wish to bring their own kayaks can do so and just ferry their trash to the nearest canoe on the water. We pick up trash along the shores and in the water.
