WNC Sierra Club Monthly Program - Feb. 7 - Recycling: How You Can Do Better

Feb. 7 at 7 p.m. at UNCA's Reuter Center/OLLI on Campus View Road and on Zoom

Why is Curbie so picky about your trash?  Brendan Roberts, new managing partner at Curbie, will explain at the WNC Sierra Club's February meeting.

So much in our environment, including our water and food, depends on recycling correctly. Learn why much of the material that should be recycled ends up in the landfill. Find out what you can do to help change that.

Brendan Roberts will discuss the ins and outs of recycling in Buncombe County, including what happens to our recyclables and the dos and don’ts of effective recycling.

The WNC Sierra Club meets monthly in Room 102 at UNCA’s Reuter Center/OLLI on 300 Campus View Rd. and simultaneously on Zoom. Our programs are free and open to the public. Click here to join the Zoom meeting.  Can't make the meeting? Don't worry - recordings of the programs are posted on our website a week after the meeting.
