The Inflation Reduction Act: What's in it for You? - In person & on Zoom

Discover the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) and its incentives for electrifying homes and vehicles with tax credits, upfront discounts, and more. The programs prescribed by the IRA are designed to accelerate our national transition from fossil fuels. For example, upgrade to a heat pump air conditioner/heater or heat pump water heater with substantial savings based on your income. The range of options provides benefits to both homeowners and renters.

Our speaker is Jamie Wine, Program Manager with the Blue Horizon Project and Board member of the Greenbuilt Alliance. He will talk about the IRA rebate versus tax incentive structure, and how you can access this "checking account" for home energy upgrades ASAP. While specific processes for accessing these funds are still uncertain, we'll navigate together through the known information.
