Sierra Club Picnic Saturday July 16 noon - 3 pm
Picnic! Share a meal, see old friends and enjoy the outdoors! The location is Riverside Park in Woodfin at 1598 Riverside Drive (Google Maps link: https://goo.gl/maps/ZXQnpTnznvkQfzmA7), where we will gather at the picnic pavilion at the north end of the parking lot.
No RSVP is required. Bring a dish to share and your own tableware if possible. We will have a charcoal grill going so bring something to cook if you like. Because this is a public park the event will be alcohol-free. After the meal, stay to hear some music, play some badminton or take a stroll along the beautiful French Broad river.
WNC Sierra Club has not held an in-person event for members since March of 2020. It’s been a long couple of years. Among the many missed opportunities has been our traditional mid-summer picnic but now it’s time to renew the tradition.
