Longtime Sierra Club member Bob “Cool Beans” Sandberg, 77, passed away on July 17, 2022. He was an environmental champion and sailor and for many years a valuable member of the Sierra Club Executive Committee, a trustee of the Whale Pond Brook Watershed Association, and member of the Tinton Falls Environmental Commission. Bob was a 1967 graduate of Houghton College, NY, a US Army veteran, and member of the US Coast Guard Reserve. In his civilian
