See the Missouri Wilderness Photo ExhibitSierra Club supports the proposal by the National Park Service to protect 3,434 acres at Big Spring (near Van Buren, on the Current River) by recommending the area for wilderness designation.
Another opportunity to learn more about Missouri’s wilderness areas would be to visit the Photo Exhibit assembled by local Sierra Club leaders Richard Spener and Toni Armstrong. The exhibit has already been shown in St. Louis and Columbia. Be sure to visit when the photos are in your town!
