In a big win for our Capital City, the St Paul City Council adopted a sweeping new update to the Saint Paul Bike Plan that proposes 119 new miles of protected bikeways. Over 150 people packed Dual Citizen Brewing for "Paved Paradise – An Evening with Author Henry Grabar." The event helped decision-makers, transit advocates, "urbanist" YIMBYs, housing advocates, and environmentalists connect the dots to climate. Sierra Club Policy Director Peter Wagenius implored attendees to urge their senator to ask Majority Leader Murphy to ensure a vote on Comp Plan Clarity (SF4183) This legislation would end the Minneapolis 2040 lawsuit and protect cities which legalize more housing.
