The Land Use and Transportation team was very excited to have Adri Jereb from MN350 join them this month to talk about the Bus Rider’s Budget. The budget initiative calls for the Met Council to allocate funds from their 2023 budget towards hiring transit ambassadors, restoring transit route frequency by hiring more drivers, and developing a climate equity plan. Don’t forget, the Sierra Club Bike Tour is just around the corner on September 24th. Next month’s meeting will be moved to Monday, September 12th so the team can enjoy the Labor Day holiday. Hope to see you there.
