Transportation is the largest source of greenhouse gas emissions and air pollution in our state and across the country. We need all-hands on deck to transform the way we get around our communities. This has to include expanding accessible public transit and improving walking and bicycling infrastructure for all.

For people that need to drive, it also means ensuring we all transition to clean, electric vehicles. That’s why Sierra Club has partnered with Plug In America, Electric Auto Association, and EV Hybrid Noire to invite you to join events to introduce you to driving clean electric cars. Community leaders across the state and the nation are coming together to celebrate the expansion of EVs by putting the ones in your community on display for all who are curious to test them out!

If you're wondering just how far an EV can take you, check out this awesome blog about a Sierra Club employee who drove their EV across the country, charging up at many national parks along the way!

Electric vehicles can save you money, benefit the climate, and improve air quality and public health outcomes. Now is the time to learn more. You have a prime opportunity to do so in person and connect with EV owners by attending an event near you.

See you there!

Hieu Le is the Senior Campaign Representative for Sierra Club’s national Clean Transportation for All campaign.
