How to Get Great Local Emails

Do you wish you knew more about Sierra Club advocacy actions, events, and outings happening across Minnesota? We’d love to tell you about them.

But if you haven’t been seeing our local action alerts and invitations, you might not be getting our emails. Here is how to ensure you do.

First things first:

Go into your email platform and search for emails from Mary Blitzer, open one, reply to it with just the word “yes” and click on a link within the email— this will help your email provider recognize us, keeping our emails out of your spam folder.

Then:

Search for an email from Mary Blitzer. If you are in Duluth try searching for Jenna Yeakle.

If you're a Gmail user:

  • On your desktop, drag the email into your Primary tab. (You may need to search in your Promotions tab.)

  • On your mobile device, click the three dots in the top right of the email, then tap Move To, then Primary

If you're an Apple user:

  • Click the email address at the top of the email (next to the From field) and choose Add to Contacts

If you’re a Yahoo, Outlook, or Hotmail user:

  • Find the email (make sure to check in your junk or spam folders), click the box on the left of the email to add a checkmark and then click the Not Junk button or select Not Spam.

Finally, read our emails and enjoy more local events and actions!
