Today the Sierra Club North Star Chapter announced its list of endorsed incumbents running for re-election for State Legislature, below.
“The Sierra Club is proud to share our endorsements for Representatives and Senators running for re-election to the State Legislature,” said Shanna Woods, Political Co-Chair for the North Star Chapter. “These candidates have proven their commitment to protecting Minnesota’s environment and health and advancing real climate solutions to build a clean, just and equitable future,” said Michelle Hesterberg, Political Co-Chair for the North Star Chapter.
The North Star Chapter’s Political Committee conducts a thorough review of candidates based on their environmental history, voting records, activities while in office, and policy positions through responses to questionnaires and interviews.
The Sierra Club will announce further rounds of endorsements in 2022.
