Today the Sierra Club officially announced its endorsement of Rep. Dean Phillips for reelection in Minnesota's Congressional District 3.
"The Sierra Club is proud to endorse Representative Dean Phillips in his 2022 campaign for reelection to Congress," said Margaret Levin, State Director of the Sierra Club North Star Chapter.
“In these challenging last two years, Representative Phillips has continued his strong environmental advocacy: to ensure that the Boundary Waters is protected for future generations, and safeguard Minnesota’s clean air, water, and climate.
"He has supported critical funding for water and lands protection; incentives to expand wind, solar and energy efficiency that will grow the green economy and restoring U.S. leadership in addressing climate change. “We look forward to Representative Dean Phillips’ reelection and to continuing our work together.”
The Sierra Club will mobilize its members and supporters to elect endorsed candidates.
