Today the Sierra Club announced its endorsement of Rep. Angie Craig for reelection in Minnesota's 2nd Congressional District.
"We are pleased to announce the Sierra Club’s endorsement of Rep. Angie Craig for reelection in Minnesota's second Congressional district,” said Margaret Levin, State Director for the Sierra Club North Star Chapter.
“Rep. Craig understands that climate change threatens people’s health and livelihoods in communities across Minnesota. She has supported strengthening our global commitments to climate action; investing in clean energy infrastructure like solar, wind and energy efficiency; and reducing harmful pollution in our lakes and drinking water caused by runoff.
"We are at a critical moment, when the pandemic has touched all of our communities, and the climate crisis continues to threaten our clean air and water, lands, and collective future. "In her third term, Rep. Angie Craig will continue working to protect healthy air and water, and build a clean energy economy that works for all Minnesota families. We look forward to her continued leadership when she is reelected to the U.S. House.”
The Sierra Club will mobilize its members and supporters to elect endorsed candidates.
