Thanks for your interest in Sierra Club Outings. Below are some FAQs.
COVID safety: The Sierra Club takes everyone's safety seriously. If you are experiencing any possible COVID symptoms or are sick, do not attend the outing. Masks are optional outdoors, but are required for indoor close quarters. Vaccines or tests are not required, meaning you are potentially on a trip with unvaccinated individuals. We recommend that everyone who is vaccine eligible, get vaccinated! Participants are responsible for reporting a positive COVID test to the leaders.
Locations: Currently, the Outings Group is most active in the Metro area. If you are interested in leading groups in other areas, please contact us at outings@northstar.sierraclub.org.
Activities: Activities include hiking, kayaking, skiing, and more. To see past events, visit the Meet Up page.
Waivers: All participants on Sierra Club outings are required to sign a standard liability waiver.
Pets & Children: Please contact the outings leader before bringing any pets. Children under 18 are welcome, but must be accompanied by an adult.
