House Passes 100% Clean Energy Bill, Senate Votes to Deny Climate Change is Human Caused
Last week, the Minnesota House of Representatives passed two bills that would set our state on the right path to addressing climate change: the House Climate and Energy Bill and the House Transportation Bill. The House Climate bill includes a goal of 100% clean energy, furthers our climate goals, supports community solar expansion and reform (good reform!), removing garbage burning from the definition of renewable energy, and much more. It is the most ambitious climate bill to ever be passed in Minnesota.
While the House is passing climate solutions, Republicans in the Senate just voted that climate change isn't primarily caused by humans. Please call your Senator and tell them we need action on climate right now!
