2020 challenged us all. No one has been left untouched by the multiple crises we face -- from the pandemic to the deterioration of our democracy to increasing disasters for our climate. Through it all, the North Star Chapter has continued to show up every single day and fight for and alongside our communities.
This year for our annual celebration of the Solstice and volunteer awards ceremony, we knew that we would not be able to come together in person. So we asked volunteer leaders – who are the heart of the Sierra Club - to share photos and videos about how they made it through 2020 – whether through activism or in nature.
