Other ways to get involved
One of the best ways to get involved with the Crossroads Group is by visiting our website, just as you are doing now. We update our website regularly so you can always be informed of upcoming programs, outings and special events.
Another way to follow the Crossroads Group is by visiting our Facebook page where you will find posts from our supporters and friends as well as photos and information on upcoming activities. You may also wish to join our Meetup group where you can get email updates about upcoming activities and interact with other members.
Promote your business/organization: Be an official sponsor of the Crossroads Group of the Sierra Club. In doing so you will help us to protect our natural surroundings and at the same time receive area-wide exposure for your organization. Sponsors have a presence in our newsletters that reach nearly 1200 area residences three times a year. Sponsors also receive recognition on our three websites that are visited by hundreds more. The four sponsorship packages range from $100 to $1000, each level bringing you more exposure. For more information, please email us at crossroads@michigan.sierraclub.org . Becoming a Crossroads Group Insider
The Crossroads Group is a vital organization that enriches our community. Its leadership consists of people like you who have an interest in the environment and wish to contribute. If you would like to know more about the Crossroads Group, sign up for our News listserv . You will receive a few emails a month informing you of leadership meetings and other special events.
All interested persons are welcome to attend our leadership meetings. They are generally held the first Thursday of the month at the house of one of our leaders. Socializing begins at 7:15 and business begins at 7:30. Refreshments are served. Attending a meeting is a great way to meet the people that make the Crossroads Group the successful Sierra Club group that it is. It is also a great way to make new friends.
Sierra Club Beyond the Crossroads Group
The Michigan Chapter of the Sierra Club has its own website where you can view the Michigan Chapter newsletter (The Mackinac) and see what else is going on in our state.
At the national level , you can sign up to receive the Sierra Club Insider , the flagship e-newsletter. Sent out twice a month, it features the club’s latest news and activities.
