Welcome to the Bluegrass Group

The Bluegrass Group is the local affiliate of the Sierra Club in Central Kentucky, sponsoring activities to inform Sierra Club members and the general public about local, regional, state, and national environmental issues. We provide many opportunities to meet, greet and talk about issues and environmental activism (see the Get Involved page), as well as get outdoors to experience what Kentucky has to offer.

Bluegrass October General Meeting

Monday, October 21, 2024 @ 7:00pm

Nachie Braga, a permaculture designer (Geomancer), will discuss how he applies permaculture practices with green infrastructure. The purpose is to create a healthy environment between nature and the landscape.  He will also discuss his work with Cardinal Valley.  You can see some of his presentations on You Tube.
