David Attenborough was 93 years old when he made this documentary. He shows us all the horrendous impact humanity has made on the planet earth. As one review says, “if you have been humbled by the scale and hopelessness of other documentaries about the various horrors inflicted upon the Holocene, perhaps the personal touch of this one will make you take action.
Attenborough describes actions which could prevent humanity’s effects and combat climate change and biodiversity loss. He asserts that the solution has been "staring us in the face all along. To restore stability to our planet, we must restore its biodiversity.
