Join us for our next monthly speaker series — Rookery Reestablishment in the Metro East — on Tuesday, June 14 at 6:30pm! We'll be joined by Carson McNamara, a Natural Resource Specialist with the Illinois Department of Natural Resources' Contaminant Assessment Section. Carson will discuss the Natural Resource Damage Assessment process and ongoing restoration efforts in Illinois, with a special focus on the heron and egret rookery restoration project currently taking place in the Metro East area. Carson McNamara is a Natural Resource Specialist with the Illinois Department of Natural Resources’ Contaminant Assessment Section. She holds a BS in Biology from St. Louis University and an MS in Biology from Eastern Kentucky University.
This event will be held in-person at the Old Bakery Beer Company at 400 Landmarks Boulevard in Alton, Illinois. The speaking program will begin at 6:30pm in the room adjacent to Old Bakery Beer Company's dining room.
