Join us for our next monthly speaker series — Coyotes: Friend or Foe? — on Tuesday, May 10 at 6:30pm! We'll be joined by Kerry Lennartz, local wildlife expert, to learn about our wild canine neighbors: coyotes. Kerry is a wildlife rehabilitator with the Treehouse Wildlife Center in Dow, Illinois, and a long-time supporter of Sierra Club Illinois. Kerry will share information about the behavior and habits of coyotes as well as the species' important role in the ecosystems they live in. She will also review management strategies and ways to foster a peaceful coexistence between humans and coyotes. Kerry will also bring special residents from Treehouse Wildlife Center!
This event will be held in-person at the Old Bakery Beer Company at 400 Landmarks Boulevard in Alton, Illinois. The speaking program will begin at 6:30pm in the room adjacent to Old Bakery Beer Company's dining room. There is a virtual option to tune into the speaking program via Zoom at 6:30pm for folks who are unable to attend in-person. Register here to join us (either virtually or in-person) for our May Speaker Series to learn more from Kerry about coyotes!
