This year, our popular "Green Brew" event will happen at the Old Bakery Beer Company! We will begin the evening with a tour of the facility, which will include their brewing process and highlight their sustainability practices. Then we will stay to socialize with a bite to eat and a pint of ale.
All of the Old Bakery's craft beers are made with 100% American, USDA-certified organic malts and hops. The restaurant features a menu of seasonally-rotating sandwiches, salads, and soups, designed to pair well with beer and highlight the vast array of produce and artisan goods available in Southern Illinois & Eastern Missouri. The historic building that houses the brewery began as a bakery in the 1880s, and it has been beautifully repurposed.
Green Brew is open to everyone, so invite a friend to come along! For more information, contact Laura Asher via email or at 415.754.8586. The tour and conversation are free of charge; you may purchase your own food and drinks.
