Heart of Illinois Group Sierra Club encourages everyone to vote this year, whether early voting, mail-in voting or in-person. Early voting (in-person) in Illinois begins September 26th and ends November 4th. Check with your local election commission for available early voting locations and times. Election day is Tuesday, Nov. 5th, with polls open at 6 a.m. and closing at 7 p.m.
