"New Illinois law requires water bottle filling stations in future public buildings" via WAND TV

Illinois will soon require water bottle filling stations inside most public buildings. The change will only apply to new public buildings with an occupancy of over 100 people and properties that are 5,000 square feet or larger. 

The bill was supported by the Illinois Environmental Council and Sierra Club Illinois in the spring 2023 legislative session.
