The Green Corridor Coalition has extended the deadline for the ‘Fields of Vision’ Photography Contest to October 28, 2021. Any and all can enter this family friendly contest. The idea is simple: take some beautiful shots of the greenway that once was slated to be the Route 53 Extension and send them our way!
Contest winners will be awarded up to $400 for their winning photograph. So, grab your cameras, catch some sun, and marvel at the colors of seasons in one of the Chicago region’s most beautiful natural landscapes. The photos will help others experience the beauty and splendor of these lands, where scenic views and rare habitats provide local communities with a gateway to connect to nature and improve their health, resilience, and quality of life.
No photography experience is required, and participants can live anywhere. The winning images also will be displayed in January 2022 at the Adler Arts Center in Libertyville.
Contest entries are free for children, and $10 for adults. Entries must be received on or before October 28, 2021.
