The ash cloud erupted at the same time the General Assembly was discussing a clean energy bill that would close the Dallman power plant sooner rather than later. [Elizabeth] Scrafford [of Sierra Club] said this ash eruption is more evidence that coal power needs to be eliminated in Illinois.
