ATLANTA — This week, the Sierra Club Georgia Chapter sent a letter to Congressional leaders expressing our support for the Ocmulgee Mounds National Park and Preserve Establishment Act.
The bipartisan bill would create Georgia's first National Park, centered around the Muscogee (Creek) Nation's ancestral land, and create a path toward allowing the Muscogee (Creek) people to co-manage the site.
