Here at the Sierra Club, every day is Earth Day. That means that every day, we are fighting for a healthy climate built on a foundation of environmental, racial, economic, and gender justice—a future where all people benefit from a healthy thriving planet and a direct connection to nature.

And we are facing great challenges. Fossil fuel companies are pushing to drill and frack on more land every day, harming ecosystems and wildlife, polluting our communities, and worsening the climate crisis. Racist systems have left Black people, Indigenous people, and other people of color bearing the brunt of climate change and environmental degradation. Too many of us still lack access to clean air, clean water, and nature’s healing powers.

We can’t solve problems this big alone, which is why the Sierra Club believes in the power of together. Together, we are a powerful collective of millions of changemakers dedicated to making a better tomorrow for our families, our friends, and our planet. Together, we hold the power to advance climate solutions, be in solidarity with allies in the fight for justice, and protect our lands, water, air, and wildlife.
