Please join us on Saturday November 25th, 10 AM at Green Fall Pond for a leisurely 2 mile walk around the pond. Green Fall Pond area was once inhabited by the Narragansett, Pequot and Mohegan tribes and fierce battles between the Native Americans and the colonists took place here many years ago but now the area is still and quiet.
There are a few scrambles over rocks however most of the walk is on smooth terrain. Dogs welcome but must be on a leash. Route 49 to Fish Rd to Green Falls Road and follow to the parking area at the pond. Or Route 138 to Green Falls Pond Rd and follow all the way to the picnic area by the water. Rain cancels.
