Celebrating Pride Month

Pride Month is a time of joy, celebration, and resistance for lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, queer, intersex, asexual, two-spirit, and other LGBTQI+ people. Too often, we've been left out of the story of the environmental movement. But we’ve been here all along, uniting our struggles for recognition and fundamental rights with the work of building a more equitable, just, and sustainable world.

This Pride Month, we're uplifting stories from LGBTQI+ community leaders, Sierra Club staff and volunteers, and partner organizations to remember our history, celebrate the amazing individuals and advocates in this space, and learn about the work that remains to be done.
