Policy Strategist (he/him)
Jakob has been with Sierra Club California since March 2023. He advocates for a more just and sustainable future at the California legislature on issues including renewable energy, industrial decarbonization, and divestment. Jakob previously worked to engage Sierra Club volunteers and build coalitions for water issues in the Bay Area as an Organizer on Sierra Club California’s water team. He received a B.A. in Political Science and a B.S. in Environmental Studies from UC Berkeley. Jakob finds joy in trying different kinds of coffee, eating at new restaurants, and wandering around farmer’s markets.
