Cualquier padre, madre, tías, o abuelos se preguntan por esta época, ¿qué puedo regalarle a los más pequeños, hijos, sobrinos o nietos que no sea de plástico, electrónico o contaminante?.
En un mundo agitado, cambiante, que se mueve a gran velocidad, donde hay tantas opiniones y medios bombardeandonos con tanta información que terminan por confundirnos a todos, no es una decisión fácil, pero estamos aquí para ayudarlos.
Lo importante es regalar algo fabuloso, que sea inspirador, les enseñe algo positivo y les ayude a crear una conciencia sobre el respeto hacia otros y hacia el medio ambiente.
Viste que no es fácil. Pero hay algo que jamás pasará de moda, y que siempre será el mejor amigo de los pequeños, y eso es un buen libro. Aquí te mostramos algunos que además de ser divertidos son didácticos y tienen precios bastante asequibles.
Que tal si empezamos con un hermoso libro ilustrado sobre animales escrito por Grete Garrido, llamado ¿Nos Ayudas?, en el que los otros habitantes del planeta nos cuentan sobre sus costumbres, datos curiosos, el peligro que corren de desaparecer si no los protegemos y las formas en que podemos ayudarlos.
La imaginación y el estudio son dos herramientas importantes para ayudarles a crecer y ser personas de bien. Pilar López Ávila fue la ganadora del International Latino Book Award de 2018 con su cuento llamado Ayobami y el nombre de los animales. Es la historia de una niña que vive en un pueblito y desea tanto ir a la escuela que no puede esperar, y su padre construye un barquito de papel y lo lanza río abajo para que llegue a la escuela. «Si sigues el barquito llegarás a la escuela», le dijo. Sin embargo, el barco naufragó y Ayobami tuvo que buscar otro camino y decidió cruzar la jungla por el tortuoso sendero que discurre entre la maleza. Con la única ayuda de un papel y un lápiz gastado, la niña inicia una apasionante travesía con un objetivo fundamental: aprender a leer y escribir. ¿Permitirán los animales salvajes que llegue sana y salva a su destino?
Podemos también adentrarnos en el mundo de La Hormiguita, una hermosa historia con un gran mensaje de J.S. Pinillos y coloridas ilustraciones de Ana Sáez de Arco, dos de las más exitosas autores de cuentos para niños. La hormiguita está escrito de forma sencilla y con mucho humor para contarnos cómo ella trabaja y trabaja sin descanso para tener muchas semillitas antes de que llegue el invierno, mientras que su vecino se dedica a no hacer nada y le quita las semillitas.
