- Climate Change Policy
- Education for the need for native plants and removal of invasive species
How are you helping Alabama explore, enjoy, and protect the environment?
- Participation and support for environmental groups
- Hopefully through example such as encouraging others to hike and enjoy nature (since you rarely support what you do not know and respect), recycling and composting, and voting for those that support our cause.
What is one of your favorite memories associated with the Sierra Club?
- Backpacking to The Walls of Jericho in north Alabama, spending the night in the valley, and surviving the hike back out.
What is one action you would like to see more of from the Sierra Club Alabama Chapter?
- Somehow find a way to encourage more young people to be involved.

- Hiking the perimeter of the local Lurleen State Park
What is one action you would like to see more of from the Sierra Club Alabama Chapter?
- We need to increase the membership so as to be enabled to have a capable representative to interact with the State Legislature.
