There are 3 HIGH E. coli alerts at Big Canoe Creek, Hokes Bluff & Little Canoe Creek and 1 MODERATE E. coli alert at Big Wills Creek as of August 2, 2019.

A note about these three trouble makers: What we can share for now is that we suspect this is coming from livestock operations and we're trying to pinpoint where the issue begins so can we begin to identify landowners we can direct to resources from NRCS for better practices for the creek and their livestock. Until we have answers remember to proceed with caution especially after a storm.
