Judy oversees marine, estuarine and freshwater restoration, coastal ecology, regional conservation efforts and linking communities with resources. She will provide an overview of some of the coastal projects that are completed, what projects are currently being worked on, and some possible projects for the future.
The Nature Conservancy is dedicated to protecting and restoring the vital habitats of Alabama to benefit both the wildlife and people who depend on these ecosystems. On the coast of Alabama, The Nature Conservancy focuses on protecting and restoring oyster reefs, marsh habitats, and maritime forests from the Grand Bay Savanna all the way to the Perdido River.
