A huge thank you to Birmingham Audubon's seasonal steward, Andrew Haffenden and the amazing volunteers of Dauphin Island for the 35 chick shelters constructed out of recycled materials last month! Material donations were made by the Dauphin Island community, and were constructed by volunteer Mike Hardy and Haffenden. These shelters will provide additional shade to precious beach chicks.
