I moved to Wyoming in 2007 to attend the University of Wyoming and have been a conservation and climate activist ever since. I began working for the Sierra Club in 2018 as a conservation organizer and transitioned into a role with Sierra Club's Beyond Coal Campaign in 2020. In my current position as chapter director, I work with our staff, volunteers, and board to grow our movement to protect our undeveloped landscapes, healthy wildlife, clean air and water, and our climate.

Kelsey Yarzab - Associate Organizer

Jackson, WY

kelsey.yarzab@sierraclub.org

I grew up in rural New Jersey and obtained my BA in International Affairs & Sustainability from George Washington University. My passion for local activism and grassroots organizing led me to the 2020 cohort of the Conservation Leadership Institute at the Jackson Hole Conservation Alliance, where I learned how to turn my passion into action. I'm thrilled to be part of a passionate group of change-makers at Sierra Club Wyoming who are dedicated to protecting the integrity of the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem and beyond.
