Our main events are OUTINGS and PROGRAMS
Our local OUTINGS committee plans regular outings at all seasons, so that our members and friends can enjoy the outdoors with a group of people and a leader that knows the area. Often a naturalist or someone familiar with the area will attend and fill in information about the area. We hold frequent Service Outings, participating in cleanups, tree planting or the removal of invasive species.

The Great Waters Group PROGRAM committee plans informative programs, usually on the second Monday of most months.  We find presenters who are experts who specialize in an environmental subject, or put together a panel to discuss issues. Occasionally we'll just hold a roundtable to share our own knowledge and interests informally.
