African American Environmental Pioneer Awards honor MIlwaukeeans
The 4th annual African American Environmental Pioneer Awards event to honor this year's award cohort will take place at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 20, at Wisconsin’s Black Historical Society and Museum in Milwaukee’s Amani neighborhood.
We intentionally hold this event during Black History Month, to celebrate the contributions of our present day community leaders and honor the rich culture and history of the African Diaspora in Milwaukee and beyond. This exciting and memorable event will be returning to the Wisconsin Black History Society and Museum and will also be live streamed.
