The annual Holiday Party and Fundraiser will be a little different this year, but we will still have a chance to hear great music, "see" friends, play trivia, and toast the Great Waters Group's 50th anniversary. Join us on Zoom on Sunday, Dec. 6, at 6:30 p.m. It's free, but advance registration is required

We'll hear live music from seasoned local performers Patty Stevenson and Craig Siemsen.

We worked out a special meal so you can still enjoy a carry-out Middle Eastern meal and support our longtime caterer Aladdin. From Monday, Nov. 30,  through Sunday, Dec. 6, call Aladdin and ask for the "Sierra Club Special," which includes  Mediterranean salad, pita, hummus or baba ghanouj, chicken and a choice of basmati or Egyptian rice. We're skipping the usual silent auction but if you are able to contribute any amount, you can support the GWG through our 50 for 50 campaign marking the GWG's 50th anniversary. The proceeds will be split between GWG (for monthly programs, newsletters, Earth Day events and community outreach) and the Nearby Nature program, which focuses on environmental justice and equity in Milwaukee.

We know the pandemic has taken a huge toll on many businesses, so besides buying dinner from Aladdin, we encourage you to support the local businesses and nonprofits that have generously donated to our auctions in the past.
