Do you have writing, editing, or design layout skills and want to put them to use for the environment and the people who depend on it [all of us]? Or maybe you have experience in the fundraising sphere and can extend your services? Or maybe you’re just looking for a good volunteer opportunity? Regardless of where you came from, the Great Waters Group seeks your help with our newsletter and fundraising efforts!

The newsletter is designed and sent to our membership once a quarter, and some possible responsibilities of a volunteer would be to solicit and edit articles from other volunteer leaders, lay out the articles and images appropriately, and work with our professional printer to get them printed and shipped. Depending on what you’re looking for, you can maintain the current newsletter design and process, or feel empowered to make changes. At all stages, other volunteers can and will be helping.

Like with any organization, fundraising is critical to the Great Waters Group, not only with funding basic operations (e.g., newsletter costs), but also enabling the GWG to support special internal and external projects and organizations. We seek somebody who could take point on fundraising efforts. Just like with the newsletter work, at all stages of a fundraising process, other volunteers can and will be helping. Nobody works in a vacuum!
