Anti-Bias Workshop Series for Environmentalists, sponsored by Sierra Club Great Waters Group, facilitated by August Ball, award winning equity, justice, and inclusion trainer.

Who should attend:
- Staff and volunteers of community based environmental advocacy groups
- Leadership staff of predominantly white environmental organizations
- Board members of environmental organizations
Sample learning objectives:
- Foundational understanding of why environmental organizations are predominantly white and what to do about it
- Shared language around diversity, equity and power as it relates to systems and interpersonal dynamics.
- How to promote change when you are not the key decision maker.
- Introduction to White Fragility and Racial Battle Fatigue and tools to manage these experiences
- Workshop on how to attract and retain a dynamic and diverse workforce or volunteer group
