Join us on one of our spring hikes - May 6

It's meteorological spring and we're itching to get outside a bit more. Join us on one of these outings.

March 19, noon to 1 p.m.

Spring Equinox Hike at Lakeshore State Park

The spring equinox represents new life and new beginnings. We'll join Dave Wenstrup of the Friends of Lakeshore State Park for a walk through the park to observe the signs of winter trying to hold on and look for signs of spring trying to break through. And we'll avoid the mud -- the 1.7-mile trail is paved. All ages and abilities welcome! Register here.

April 1, 10 a.m.  to noon – Hiking Grobschmidt Park in Greenfield

Grobschmidt Park is surrounded by residential neighborhoods. But don't let that deceive you; it is a beautiful place with a variety of habitats inviting you to adventure. Come for the company. Stay for Mud Lake, multiple wetlands, and a top notch forest. Register here.

May 6, 10 a.m. to noon – Hiking the Forest Exploration Center in Wauwatosa

We'll look for flowers and budding leaves and other marks of spring. Register here.
