Our Sierra Club outings are at the heart of our mission. Together, we are committed to creating a diverse grassroots movement of people inspired and empowered to help protect 100 million acres of land, expand wildlife protections, and advocate for more planet-saving action.
Connect with our local landscapes and fellow Vermonters on a Sierra Club outing! Hike or bike alongside neighbors with a shared interest in enjoying, exploring, and protecting the planet.
The Vermont Sierra Club is developing our outings program to be linked to our conservation goals, and is purposely hosting outings that are accessible to varied physical abilities. This is an exciting time to become part of the team.
To express interest in our conservation outings please submit your ideas of suggested outings, or interest in becoming an outing leader on our outings survey below or email robb.kidd@sierraclub.org.
All outing leaders will need to take a first aid and CPR class and the Sierra Club outings leader training course online. (A few hours.)
