The Vermont Sierra Club for the last five years has successfully advanced clean transportation measures with the adoption of electric vehicle policies, however, there is so much more that Vermont can do to change how we as a society travel. Transportation accounts for nearly 40% of Vermont’s carbon emissions, so biking can be a good option to get us on the path of further reducing emissions. However, as Vermont roads and communities don’t have the most bike-friendly infrastructure we need Vermonters like you to reclaim our roads and demand Vermont puts every effort to make roads safe for all users.
These bike outings will help build public support to increase bike and pedestrian infrastructure. Join us as we explore, enjoy, and protect the planet!
