Last week after multiple delays the Interagency Committee on Adminstrative Rules moved forward with the Advanced Clean Cars II and Advanced Clean Truck Rules. As these rules need to be adopted based on what California adopts we need people to affirm support for the rules. We are expecting opposition from the trucking industry and as it was strong in Maine we too realize that we need all hands on deck to defeat powerful trucking and fossil fuel interests. Can you commit to attending and recruiting your friends?
ANR scheduled a series of public hearings to get Vermonters input, your voice is needed to ensure Vermont adopts rules to require auto manufacturers to provide clean cars and clean trucks:
