The Vermont Sierra Club is excited to be hosting these upcoming Drive Electric Week Events in South Burlington and Montpelier. However, we need your help to make these events a big success.
Volunteer Needs:
1. September 25, 10:00 am - 1:00 pm- The Sierra Club will have a booth at the Burlington Farmers' Market to encourage attendance at the South Burlington Sun CARnival. We will also be collecting signatures for this petition to Governor Scott.
2. September 25 12:00 noon- 5:30 pm- Sun CARnivaL We need a few volunteers to help us, petition attendees, staff the Sierra Club information booth, ensure general event flow, general set up, and clean up.
3. October 2- 10:00am- 1:00pm- Staffing the Montpelier Farmer's Market. Here we will be directing people from the farmers market to just a few hundred yards away to the Drive Electric State House Meet Up.
4. October 2- 9:00 am- 1:30 pm Drive Electric VermontState House Meet Up. We need a few volunteers to help us, petition attendees, staff the Sierra Club information booth, ensure general event flow, general set up, and clean up.
5. September 26-October 6 Petition Data Entry- After collecting signatures at these events we will need to enter the data into a spreadsheet so we can submit all of the petitions to Governor Scott in an electronic format along with the original paper copies.
