Come join us for a cleanup in the beautiful Spring Mountain area on Saturday, June 24th! Let’s take time to recognize our parks and monuments in Nevada by giving them some TLC! Not only will a visit to the Spring Mountains refresh your spirit, you will be helping out to preserve and protect the Spring Mountains which consist of Spring Mountains National Recreation Area within the Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest and Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area. Unfortunately, instead of taking photos and leaving no trace, some visitors leave mounds of trash in our breathtaking parks and our monuments. You can make a difference!
Volunteers will be in for a treat after the cleanup! There might be a scenic ride on the chairlift and there will be refreshments!
Members of Sierra Club's Southern Nevada Group are welcome to sign up and bring family members. All minors under eighteen years old must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Please do indicate while registering membership with Sierra Club's Southern Nevada Group so we can be assigned to the same location!
