We meet on the fourth Tuesday of every month. Each meeting is built around, inclusion, dialogue and building community. Can that be achieved on Zoom?  Absolutely! Every meeting starts with an engaging inclusive activity in which everyone is engaged.

The central part of each Reno ICO meeting is “The Big Discussion Item” which changes each month. For example, at the last meeting, the group developed a list of volunteer trainings and events to be included in the 2024 and 2025 Reno ICO Leadership Development Series.

Along with the Big Discussion Item, we often have an ICO volunteer or an invited guest to talk about a recent trip, an upcoming opportunity, or another topic of interest.  We will be starting to have some short trainings as part of the Leadership Development Series.

The meeting concludes with reports by members of the ICO Leadership Team followed by an open forum for anyone to raise issues, questions, or to share announcements. We end the meeting with with optimistic closure – A mix of reflection and engagement that motivates us for the month ahead and gets us looking forward to next month’s meeting
